The BIG Show Improv Comedy delivered a technically perfect show, aside from some struggle with high notes at the beginning. The playlist flowed like clockwork, and microphone chatter was kept to a minimum.
The small venue at just under 15,000 seats left me somewhat perplexed due to the unfortunate choice of the American Airlines Center as the acoustically unfriendly venue. The expensive tickets made for a poor choice, resulting in an uncomfortable and surprisingly dissociated concert experience with its long hall style.
The music, for what it's worth, lacked soul but was enjoyable. The band didn't "show up" and seemed to be going through the motions of a concert. The whole concert seemed formulaic and safe.
